In a world of limited resources and economic constraint, tiny homes have become an interesting alternative to traditional living. I designed this home knowing that it must have full efficiency without compromising aesthetic details.
Constraints for this project were as follows: A 20’ x 20’ footprint and a loft half the size of the ground level. I focused on making this home stand out from others by integrating elements that were outside the norm of the given constraints. The roof was a focal point for me where I was able to create dichotomy from the strict rectangular frame of the house and draw the eye to a more interesting and unique roof line.
This project was first sketched by hand then technically drawn in Illustrator before finally modeling and rendering it in Rhino.
